Julington attended Atlantic Coast High School in Jacksonville, Florida where I played basketball leading his team defensively year to year.
He proceeded to Florida A&M University majoring in Business Administration, where though he didn’t pursue basketball, He continued playing recreationally. There he learned that life doesn’t come easy. “That hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”
Julington enjoys coaching at Swish Academy, because it gives him the opportunity to instill lessons from the court to the real world that could have helped him had he received this information sooner in life.
Julington is quoted to say, “I don’t force my credence on anyone. However, I look up to God and the plan He has set before me. I believe children are a blessing. Their smiles are light reminders that any shot can be made with a little encouragement and trust in something greater than yourself”.
